Rev. Tom Bunting

Senior Pastor

Pastor Bunting was ordained through the Wesleyan church in 1985. After growing two smaller churches in South Carolina, he accepted the position as pastor of Emmanuel Wesleyan Church in 1986. EWC has seen tremendous growth over the last 25 years. Pastor Bunting has received numerous awards for church growth and received Pastor of the Year from Houghton College. He also served as Assistant District Superintendent for the Chesapeake District of the Wesleyan Church for 10 years. He has been married to his wife, Janice, for 43 years and has 4 children and 9 grandchildren.

Rev. Janice Bunting

Assistant Pastor

Pastor Janice has served on staff for over 25 years and was ordained through the Wesleyan Church in 1997. Her passion is coordinating the major dramatic and musical productions that have become a renown, city-wide outreach. Among her responsibilities are pastoral care, counseling, and visitation. She is a mother of 4 and grandmother of 9.

Pastor Dana Stauffer

Assistant Pastor

Pastor Dana has served on staff for over 11 years as the Children’s Pastor, overseeing all children's ministries. Her responsibilities include women's ministry, assimilation, and pastoral care. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Liberty University and is seeking her ordination in the Wesleyan Church. Dana and her husband, Micah, have 2 children, Landon and Jenna.

Rev. Mark Bunting

Assistant Pastor

Pastor Mark has served on staff  for 11 years as Assistant Pastor and Worship Leader. He shares the pulpit regularly with the Senior Pastor and is an excellent communicator of The Word. As Worship Leader, he has led a worship team in producing two full-length recordings. His other responsibilities include pastoral care and developing new ministries. He was ordained through the Wesleyan church in 2007 and has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical Studies from Indiana Wesleyan University. Mark, and his wife Sara have 3 children, Mckenna, Blake, and Weston.

Pete Vinroot

Assistant Worship Director

Pete serves as Assistant Worship Director. He has been leading congregational worship since the age of 15. He is a gifted Singer, Musician, and Song Writer, who has a passion for worship. Pete is also the Assistant Office Administrator and leads Worship for the Fuel Youth Ministry. He is pursuing a Bachelors of Arts degree from Salisbury University.

Jimmy McIntyre

Support Staff

Jimmy serves as Support Staff. His responsibilities include Tech, Live Sound, Video Recording, Web Design, Grounds Maintenance, and Security. He has Volunteered here at Emmanuel since 2005, and joined the staff in 2010.

Lauren Monroe

Children's, and Youth Director

Lauren serves as the Children's Church and Youth Director. Lauren's warm personality, and friendly smile make her a huge blessing to the Children and Youth of the Church. She has a Bachelors of Science degree in Early Childhood Education, and Elementary Education from Salisbury University, and is pursuing a Master's Degree.

Vinni Vitelli

Bookkeeper

Vinni serves as the church bookkeeper at Emmanuel. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her responsibilities, and has been serving at Emmanuel for 14 years.
